Print Finishing (scroll down for prices of different finishes)
You might decide to enhance and protect your valuable prints with some of the services listed below. Prints from the lab with no mounting or protective finish are a standard Kodak "E" Surface (Matte) and those are the prices listed above.
Dry Mounting: Double weight mount board is used on 8x10 or smaller. Triple weight board is used on 11x14s and 10x20s. Quad weight mount board is used on 16x20s and larger. Five ply is used on competition quality prints. All prints are flush mounted. Add one day to delivery date.
Canvas Board: Prints are mounted on canvas covered board. Add two days to delivery time.
Canvas Stretcher: The print is applied to canvas and stretched over a wooden frame. Add two days to delivery time.
Protective Finish: At your request, protective clear, semi-matte, or luster is applied to prints. Add one day to delivery time.
Machine Texture: Machine texture embosses your print's surface. Textures available are medium pebble, linen, and canvas. Add one day to delivery time.
Brush Strokes: Brush Strokes are available on mounted prints only. A heavy lacquer is applied randomly by hand with an artist's brush. Add two days to delivery time.
Spray Texture: Spray texture is available on mounted prints only. A spatter type spray is applied to mounted prints. Add two days to delivery time.
Other Mounting: Foam Core, Canvas only, Canvas on Masonite.
